This Bulgarian village has beautiful architecture reminiscent to the style of Arbanassi. Less than an hour’s drive from Veliko Tarnovo, we have 2 Bulgarian houses, one of which was built in 1906 and a spacious shop with a large garden and enclosed with a stone wall.
Both properties are built over two floors comprising of 8 rooms, storage rooms,3 fireplaces a large attic and a stone basement. Many original features have been maintained such as the traditional Jamal heating and the earthen fireplaces which are also used as bread ovens. The properties have a combined 3 balconies, taking advantage of the sunny southerly exposure.
An outstanding feature of the 1700 sqm garden is the original Bulgarian stone barn. The property may need some major renovation but it can definitely be turned into the house of your dreams.
The property can be accessed via the asphalt roads in the village which also provides access to main roads throughout the year. In turn the shop is in a great location to attract business and can be easily spotted by both residents and motorists alike.
The village has regular public transport, good infrastructure, a library, park and church. Tourist attractions in the area are; the Roman town called Nicopolis ad Istrum ("Town of Victory in the Danube") - connecting many important towns, mineral springs - in a well known spa village, a winery and the area is approving for hunting, fishing, camping amongst many outdoor recreational activities.
